The client’s nervous system is the guide for this treatment, and a variety of modalities will be used to tailor the session to what the client’s body needs. The modalities used are: Swedish therapy which uses firm yet gentle pressure to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension, Myofascial Release to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles, and Trigger Point therapy which focuses on the release of tension around specific nerve centers.

Slow, fascial manipulation is performed to calm the muscles of mastication (chewing) and release tension and pain. Depending on the length of the session, specific work is done inside the mouth (intra-oral), head, neck, and shoulders. Adjustments can always be made depending on what the client presents with that day.

THIS IS NOT A MASSAGE.
The practitioner applies gentle, non-invasive touch, that supports the body's natural healing abilities through tuning into the subtle rhythms of the cerebral spinal fluid. This allows the client to access their “inherent health” and release accumulated stress or trauma. The practitioner’s soft touch helps to create a safe and relaxing environment and is performed on a massage table with the client fully clothed.
*Initial session is 90 min & includes a thorough discussion prior to the session.

This session begins with TMJ specific therapy where slow fascial manipulation is performed inside the mouth, the head, and neck to calm the muscles of mastication (chewing), and release pain and tension. The session then finishes with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, which tunes into the nervous system and fascial network to help calm the sympathetic nervous system and the muscles associated with the "fight or flight" response.
